The Place Hostel Battambang

We had a fantastic experience at this hostel! the front desk guys were super friendly and helpful, and they even let us keep our bags there on our last day while we explored the town. the tours they organized were professional and we had a great time. the rooms were clean and comfy, and we loved the big cold water cooler for refilling our bottles. we highly recommend staying at Place Hostel & Rooftop Bar. We had a great time at Place Hostel & Rooftop Bar! The staff at the reception was super friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. We also booked a tour with a driver from the hostel and had a fantastic experience. The prices for the tours were very reasonable, making it easy for us to explore the area. The food and drinks at the restaurant were delicious and affordable, especially dinner. The rooftop bar was a cozy and fun place to hang out, offering a great atmosphere. The cleanliness of the place was top-notch, and we appreciated the laundry service and free water refill. we had a good stay and would recommend this hostel to others.

The cleanliness of the showers could have been better, they could use some improvement in that area. Additionally, the bunk beds had metal walls that made a lot of noise when accidentally bumped into.

The rooftop area is a peaceful escape, nicely decorated with shade. The staff is friendly and helpful. Private double rooms offer exceptional air con. The rooftop bar is busy and a great spot for sunset. Tours can be easily organized from the reception.

The beds are comfortable and the showers have hot water. the hostel is conveniently located in the heart of the city, surrounded by great dining options. One of the best aspects is the rooftop bar, which is a cool place to hang out and unwind after a long day of exploring.

The fan in the room wasn't working properly, causing me to get bitten by mosquitoes all night. It would have been ideal if there was a mosquito net per bed to prevent this.

the location is perfect, close to the central market and within walking distance of everything in town. the staff were friendly and helpful, and the receptionist even asked about my day when I returned in the evening. the room with a fan was comfortable and they made the bed daily. The toilet was clean and the rooftop bar was a cool place to hang out and enjoy food and drinks. Cons: Couldn't stay longer 😔.

I got great value for my money at this hostel. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the location was perfect, right in the heart of the town. The staff were great too help me with transportation and organizing tours.

The hostel is centrally located, close to bus companies, historic center, and central market. the staff speaks English and is helpful. the rooftop bar offers breakfast, dinner, and drinks. the room is spacious. the day tour with the hostel was great, with a mix of bamboo train and traditional villages. the tour guide shared personal stories, which was awesome.

The staff were friendly and made me feel right at home. They even helped me book my onward bus ticket. The room wasvery comfy and tidy with a private curtain and locker for my belongings. The rooftop restaurant area was the perfect place to relax and enjoy a drink. It was such a sociable atmosphere and definitely worth the money.

The beds at The Place Hostel & Rooftop Bar in Battambang are so comfortable and the curtains provide a nice touch of privacy. The location is perfect, right in the center of town. The staff is friendly and always ready to assist with any requests. I highly recommend their tours, the guide is knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Plus, there are plenty of great and affordable restaurants nearby for breakfast. Just ask the staff for recommendations!

The hostel was cozy and had a contemporary design which made it quite appealing. The room had 6 comfortable beds divided by black curtains for added privacy. The staff was very welcoming and the atmosphere was great. Additionally, there were fans in the common area which provided a cool breeze on hot nights.

Though efforts were made to control mosquitoes, better protection is still needed in the dorm room.
